Jay took me under his wing when I was a rookie drummer in High School.
Jay was one of the great Stan Kenton Orchestra drummers.

Darryl was my high school music director that gave me encouragement as a musician and taught me how to be professional. Also taught me many valuable life lessons.

John was a great private drum teacher that gave me focus and encouragement. He is a total educator and wonderful human.

John Von Ohlen shared the passion of jazz drumming with me. He also introduced me to the school of Mel Lewis.
